The Lois Weber Film Festival is a female-forward 501(c)3 dedicated to promoting gender equality in the film industry by celebrating the legacy of silent film pioneer Lois Weber and the history of women in film, past, present, and future.
In celebration of Women's History Month, LWFF presents the 3rd Annual Lois Weber Film Festival at the Capitol Theater in Arlington, MA. Saturday, March 8th, 2025 from 12-10 PM.
Join us for a very special Opening Ceremony with a rare screening of Lois Weber’s 1915 film Hypocrites (58 mins), featuring live music by Jeff Rapsis and opening remarks by Shelley Stamp, author of Lois Weber in Early Hollywood.
Then stick around for Red Carpet Photos, 3 Film Blocks, an Award Ceremony and CAKE.
